Any parent with a child from 1 year old to teenage who needs suggestions on discipline would benefit from Sal Sever's advice.

The central thesis of Sal Severe's book is to change your behavior by increasing your consistency and follow through. He gives you tools to use in implementing a behavior management plan; the foremost part being to think carefully about your interactions with your children and to implement a consistent response of cause and effect. Many of the ideas will be familiar to parents who deal with behavior issues. What is especially helpful about this book is its logical presentation and the number of practical ideas and the empowerment that the book provides.
